Achievement description
My friend hounded me for weeks on end to try it... and eventually he worn me down and i gave it a shot... I jumped twice! This was back when i was in the Navy stationed down in Memphis Tenn. He also had a bridge that he was trying to sell me... LOL In the back of my mind i really wanted to do it... I have a fear of heights... and thought if i accomplished this that it would rid that fear! But i think i really needed someone to push me along...
Completion description
This was something that everyone should try at least once in their life! It was terrifying riding in the plane with 4 other new jumpers... it took about a half an hour to reach our jump height... and then the second you let go of that strut of the wing and feel yourself dropping you just can't believe that you leaped from an aeroplane!!! But when the chute opens and your fall stabilizes... all you hear is the soft breeze and the fading sound of the planes' engine... it's like you're walking on air!! It was an unbelievable sensation once you realized you WERE'NT going to DIE... LOLOLOLOLO...
It was just brilliant! You must try it at least once! That photo below is not of me... who the fuck knew to bring a camera back then... LoL... but... this is exactly what my dive was like... we had to climb out and stand on one foot atop a small metal platform just above the tire... and when the instructor said to go... you just pushed and leaped out and back as far and as hard as you could and arched your back... so this photo isn't me... but yet... it was........ Ya gotta try this at least once in your life!
