39) Ask a stranger for a date
This is a challenge mainly for all you single people who never
seem to meet anybody and haven't the nerve to ask someone
out on a date. Perhaps there is someone at work who you
find yourself daydreaming about, or maybe there is someone
on your regular train journey whose eyes keep meeting
yours. This suggestion is to do something about it, what's
the worst that could happen? They are more likely to be
flattered than offended, and who knows, they could be your
future husband or wife.
You attached people don't have to miss out on the fun, try a
bit of role play. Arrange to arrive at a bar separately one
night and pretend not to know each other, then try and turn
on the charm. At least you're guaranteed success, or are
Yes, I asked a strange guy for a date once. I think I had seen him before, but we hand't talked. I asked him out because I needed a date that evening and he wasn't very bad-looking either. The poor boy was astonished but gladly agreed to come out with me:) So, why did I need a date that evening? Because one of my female friends was going out with one guy from Chile and she didn't want to go alone (afraid I guess). I, on the other hand didn't want to be the third person in the company, and that's why asked out the first guy I met:) We ended up having a very funny evening drinking Chilean, Finnish and Estonian vodka and dancing in a night club in Helsinki.
