Michael Webb's goal
Goal name
13) Read a classic novel
Goal description
-The most difficult thing -- but an essential one -- is to
love
life, to love it even while one suffers. Because life is all. Life is God.
And to love life means to love God.
-Drat that boy, interposed my sister, frowning at me over her
work, what a questioner he is. Ask no questions, and you'll be told no
lies.
-The proof of the pudding is in the eating.
All quotes from classic novels, but can you tell from which ones? There
are many great novels but few would be widely regarded as a classic.
Research a recommended novel, or find a novel that you hear about but have
never read, and go and read one. Try these
classics (they are also the answers to the quotes) War and Peace - Count
Leo Tolstoy, Great Expectations - Charles Dickens, and Don Quixote -
Miguel de Cervantes.
