Goal description

Symi is one of the most beautiful of the Greek Dodecanese islands. Sponge-fishing once made the island's inhabitants immensely wealthy but, although that practice has diminished, Symi is still renowned for its winemaking and the quality of its boatbuilding. At the annual Symi Festival, from July until September, concerts, dance and theatre performances and open-air cinema events draw big crowds.
