Goal : 'Learn to swim'
16 Learn to swim
A lot of people can tick this one off their list straight away after learning from a sadistic school teacher who, whilst not noticing or caring how cold it was, forced them to retrieve a plastic brick whilst wearing their pyjamas. Fortunately, for those people who have never learned to swim, it is not necessary to go to such lengths to earn a swimming badge. Most leisure centers offer swimming lessons, in a heated pool, for people of all ages and abilities. It is worth learning to swim not just for life saving reasons, but also for exercise and fun.

17 Go outside and lie on the grass
This is a quick one that you can do right now. The reason for doing this isn't to assess the condition of your lawn, but to appreciate nature and take in the beauty of the simple things in life. We walk along the same paths each day in a little bubble, failing to notice the simple beauty around us. Go and lie back and feel the grass, look closely at a daisy, or look up and take in the magnitude of the sky. Don't rush yourself, stay there for as long as you like, who cares? you're not breaking the law!

Goal : 'Take a last minute city break'
18 Take a last minute city break
Have you ever felt like a change of scenery? Of course you have, so why don't you do something about it? Living in the UK we are lucky to have a wealth of culture and history on our doorstep, both in our country and in Europe, so there is no shortage of places to visit. In Britain it is easy to travel by train or coach to our big cities such as London, Edinburgh, or Manchester, and equally as easy to visit smaller historical towns such as Bath, Shrewsbury, or Stratford. It is also just as easy to hop onto a flight to visit a great European city such as Barcelona, Milan, or Stockholm.
Taking a short break doesn't have to be expensive either. By booking a trip at the last minute or by booking your transport and accommodation separately you can get away for less than you may think.

19 Have a favourite joke
Everyone likes a good joke, and the person with a good joke up their sleeve is always popular. This suggestion is to look for, remember, or wait until someone tells you a good joke, and then remember it. Once you've found a good joke, don't keep it to yourself, tell it to people. Here's a starter..

"Two peanuts walk into a bar, one was a salted."

OK, we know there are funnier jokes out there, so go and find one.

Goal : 'Go to a concert'
20 Go to a concert
The idea of going to a concert may conjure up images of either screaming teenagers or heavy metal enthusiasts swinging their long hair about. This isn't always the case, as there are many older generation performers from the 1960's, 70's and 80's who are household names, still performing and touring the country. In addition, there are a lots of talented young singers and musicians from every genre you could possibly imagine, playing all over the country, it's just a case of finding out when they are playing near to you.
